Hi, we’re Neil and Joana, we are your digital foodie guides. We started lifes in different backgrounds, and different countries until we met in Madeira, (we think one of the best places in the world for food), after dating we took our relationship to another level and set up a foodie business. We developed a community of food lovers in Madeira, consisting of Expats, Locals, tourists and nomads to enjoy and experience unique and bespoke events on the island.

We started the instagram madeirafoodies which has over 25,000 followers and is one of the best sources to find the best restaurants in Madeira, we organise and attend the foodie festivals and help bring the community together with food and drink on the island.

After travelling a lot throughout the world, we were fed up of the large foodie tours with lots of people and consuming so much food in a short space of time, so we identified a way of finding the best spots and creating a self guided food tour instead, so people can do the tours at their own pace and enjoy rather being crammed in for a short space of time and getting overwhellmed and rushed by the tour guides. The concept started in Madeira and is set to expand throughout Europe, so watch this space for a town or city you might be travelling too next.
